Hidden Cures AZ is a project put together by three graduate students at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Its contributors — Ben Leibowitz, Carrzi Dominguez and Jake Goodrick — were tasked with uncovering "hidden cures" in the state of Arizona.
Ben reported on a boxing trainer and gym in Scottsdale dedicated to training people with Parkinson's disease.
Carrzi reported on war veterans in Arizona who are using violent video games as a means to treat PTSD.
Jake reported on a new snake bite treatment being developed by University of Arizona College of Medicine researchers.
Thank you for visiting the site and supporting our work. We hope you find it as informative as we all did.
